Bio
Savina Ražnatović (she/her) is a Montenegrin-born, Florence-based multidisciplinary artist and curator whose work bridges artistic and curatorial practices.
Rooted in care, dialogue, and participation, her projects explore interdependence, belonging, and collective action through drawing, mapping, writing, and spatial interventions.
She is the founder of Podroom, an online magazine for underrepresented artistic practices in the Western Balkans and beyond. Her work has been shown at Manifattura Tabacchi and KC Grad, and she has collaborated with institutions including Palazzo Strozzi.
She is currently developing research-based, participatory projects that examine relations of care, resistance, and alternative modes of governance.
Focus Areas for Exploration
I’m interested in the Young Critics Program as an opportunity to explore my writing and critical skills potential, and to apply them in meaningful ways. I’m drawn to all forms of art, especially in how they communicate important social and cultural messages.
I’m excited to collaborate with other creatives who share this curiosity, and to explore the possibilities of creating something impactful together.
As a multidisciplinary artist and curator, my work focuses on contemporary art, with a particular interest in emerging artists from the Balkans. I aim to give these voices greater visibility through my writing.
I believe YCP will offer insights and perspectives that will expand my practice and inspire new directions in my work.
