Young Critics Program
Concept, Philosophy, and Objective
YCP is a sixteen (16) weeks-long knowledge enablement program about art, media, and culture that consists of rigorous research and practice across media and mediums. Through a meditative study, the program aims to locate new and innovative dimensions to look at art.

The nature of the program is experimental & experiential. The outreach is international & interdisciplinary. It is a learning opportunity that prepares fellows for the demands of the emerging futures in the creative and cultural status of our digital/ posthuman age by providing the right resources and access to the most relevant contemporary information about art, media, and culture to encompass their professional journey. The program seeks to find an alternative pathway to encounter the mainstream critique culture and emphasize the importance of diversity in the world of criticism. The language of instruction is English, and anyone involved with cultural, artistic, and media practice is welcome to be part of this learning experience. While the working language of the program is set as English, certain assignments are designed to encourage and acknowledge the importance of regional and native languages and allow the fellows to produce work in the respective languages.
In the curriculum, the fellows will gather a collective and plural experience through theoretical knowledge in cultural artistic production in an innovative combination with artistic, curatorial, and critical reflections. The program aims to generate a better understanding of the image (dynamic and static) revolution. The program gathers knowledge from hands-on open resources and industry professionals for next-generation practitioners to enable their emerging careers in the creative and cultural sectors irrespective of research practice and academia. Provided the diversity (in participation and presentation) of the program aesthetics it merges the Cultural Histories & preservation, the importance of archiving, audience-centered experience Design, Arts Theory, New Media interventions, culture/ cultural organization management, or futuristic media art. The fellows encounter trans-disciplinary approaches and critical thinking in connection to the needs of both academic and non-academic participation.
The program also aims to find an outright solution for challenging humanitarian problems in art education and experience. It is developing possible resilience to address the mesial quandary in the cultural policy of our time. This program investigates the changes in the expression of contemporary art and presents development strategies and pioneering research results which are coherent and collective.
